120 days and counting!!!

On day 120 of lockdown and no end in sight yet, we wish to pay a special tribute to GB2C (Giving Back to Our Community) who have been supporting us since day one of the Covid19 lockdown, and now 120 days later the folks at GB2C in Nelspruit is still fully supporting us, making it possible for us to help our community.

With so many “holes to plug” and the huge number of persons requesting assistance from us, being it for a sick child or a family without food, your financial and goods donations came at a time when we needed it most, as all of our fundraising events such as golf days are cancelled resulting in a very negative effect. We don’t have a way to express our gratitude towards you all for your generosity.

We utilized donated funds on a mixture of children requiring medical attention and to purchase baby food, nappies and food parcels for the parents.

In this time of Covid 19 lockdown, food has become medicine as you are what you eat and if you do not eat you are not…

The crucial monetary and goods donations we received, are from the local Lowveld initiative, GIVING BACK 2 our COMMUNICTY (GB2C), that was started by Crossing Nelspruit during the centre’s 16th Birthday in October last year. Several local businesses form part of GB2C including BUCO Hardware.Buildware, Nelspruit, the Tom le Roux Family, the Omar Family, Mica Nelspruit, Crossing SuperSpar Nelspruit and the Visagie Groep amongst others.
