3rd Medical Outreach 2026 in Klaarstroom
3rd medical outreach to Klaarstroom!
Klaarstroom is a village in the “Groot Karoo” about 55km from Oudtshoorn and 80km from Prince Albert. This harsh environment and large distances from their nearest Government Hospital, put medical care far outside the reach of many residents.
We have just completed our 3rd medical outreach to Klaarstroom as we visit each area that we service with free medical care, every 3 months.
65 patients received free medical care and medication thanks to Dr Anso Killian of De Rust, and 35 dental patients was helped by Dr Hanco Blignaut, a well known dentist from Oudtshoorn, who performed around 45 tooth extractions on Saturday.
With winter here to stay, children also received blankets that we received from Kiaat Private Hospital in Nelspruit and the little ones also received knitted dolls that was knitted for us by Carol of the Wild Bulls MCC Upington.
To all the volunteers that assisted us and made this outreach such a success, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, as without you there cannot be a medical outreach.
Stay warm and stay healthy!
