90 Patients seen and treated!
We conducted a medical outreach to Magalela, an informal settlement between White River and Hazyview, on Saturday 9 June 2023 with a group of volunteers.
During this outreach we manage to see and treat 90 patients of which 32 were dental patients that required dental treatment.
Every child and parent living in Magalela received a blanket against the winter chill and every child received a 5kg bag of precooked fortified porridge, 24 eggs, 14 packets of Genesis which is a top source of vitamins and minerals.
After the Doctor or dentist visit each child was treated to a hotdog, a cooldrink and a packet of crisps.
Thanks to Genesis/OUTsurance Genesis Nutritional Products, Crossing Nelspruit and Spar lowveld DC in Nelspruit for the egg donation we could ensure that every mother and child in this informal settlement is well fed and will have a nice warm winter.
In one morning we changed the lives of many people thanks to every volunteer and every donation.
