Burn wound Medical After Care Backpacks

Pediatric Care Africa was involved in developing a world class Pediatric surgical ward specializing in minimally invasive surgery at Rob Ferreira Hospital about 2 years ago, and later on we added the paediatric burns wards at the paediatric Surgical wards and the unit started receiving burn wound patients earlier this year.

Sustainability is absolutely crucial to us and the success of these Paediatric wards, and thanks to a monthly goods donation from Dischem pharmacies we can help to provide burn wound treatment bags to children suffering from burn wounds.

Typically a child will be provided with a treatment bag when they are discharged from Hospital, to ensure that they can continue with their treatment at home.

Thanks to Dr Elliot Motloung the HOD of the Paediatric surgical wards at Rob Ferreira Hospital and the kindness of Dischem Pharmacies, our children can and will continue to receive a high standard of care.
