Busamed Lowveld private Hospital and Lowveld Medical Art and Culture society hosted and arranged a Gala evening in support and aid of Pediatric care Africa.
165 persons attended the Gala dinner at the Zest, Kavinga venue in Nelspruit on Saturday and was treated to world class musical entertainment, art and spectacular performances throughout the evening.
Beyers Truter a world famous wine maker of Beyerskloof wines introduced us to a variety of wines and the art of wine and food pairing during the evening all whilst keeping us entertained with tales and stories. Thank you Beyers, please come again…!
Thanks to Busamed Lowveld private Hospital and the Lowveld medical art and culture society who arranged this fabulous event, we managed to collect over R55 000-00 in funds AND R30 000-00 worth of baby food, toys, nappies etc that was very generously donated by all who attended this gala evening.
Numerous prices was raffled during the evening, ranging from 2 nights at Ulusaba private game reserve, to Craft beer and a all inclusive trip for 3 to Sodwana bay to name only a few prices. A total of 15 prices was handed out to raffle winners…!
I have so many special people and Companies to thank that made this unbelievably successful event possible and to mention a few, Dr Attie and Walda van Wyk, Dr Linda Kuhn, Dr Mario Rudolph who acted as MC and did an absolute fabulous job of it. A big thanks to Taryn Laas for her outstanding work! You went above and beyond to make this awesome event a success.
Also special thanks to Nedbank for a wonderful cash donation, Emnotweni Hotel and Casino (Tsogo Sun), Zest, Beyerskloof, Citibug, Ulusaba private game lodge, Kings camp, BMK orthopaedics, Dr and Mrs Danie Louw, Drs Edward and Ruschelle Berry, Seasons in Africa, Dr Braam Barnard, Doug Starling and Dr Mario Rudolph.
All the exhibition artist that made this event extra special and added a very special ambience of class to the event by exhibiting your works and art.
Lastly but certainly not least all the musicians, singers and Riana Rudolph, Neil Taverner and Sias Willemse for their renditions and readings.
No thank you will be complete without thanking all the Hors D’Ouvres competition participants, who made the best Hors D ‘Ouvres ever..!
All that we so generously received from donors will be utilized to feed hungry children and to arrange medical treatment for the little ones that require medical attention.
You are very special people and true Pediatric care Africa Hero’s!
