Critical food drop!!
Critical food drop!!
We supplied each unemployed mother in Brondal, Magalela informal settlements and upper Msholozi with either 1 or 2 bags of precooked porridge depending on the number of children they have, that you only have to add hot water too, as it is precooked and contains added vitamins and minerals, powder milk and sugar already.
Handing out around a ton of food in very hot temperatures, was no small feat.
January is a tough month all around, and thanks to Crossing Nelspruit Centre for this delicious porridge donation, not a single child in these informal settlements will go to bed hungry.
We wish to thank Nelspruit Crossing Centre the centre that is the #myheartbeat of Nelspruit, that continues to supports Pediatric Care Africa and the on-going nutritional and healthcare outreaches done by Dr Andre Hattingh, the Pediatric Care Africa Team and the many medical professionals and volunteers involved.
