Lydenburg flu inoculations 2019 – Together with sister Kathy Du Beer from Laeveld Pharmacy in White River we headed to Soli-Deo-Gloria care Centre in Lydenburg.
It is Saturday the 1st of June 2019; the sky is blue and sunny with a crispy chill in the air!! Lydenburg’s winter is definitely here! So, time for our flu inoculation program to inoculate all vulnerable children and seniors at Soli-Deo-Gloria care Centre in Lydenburg Mpumalanga.
Together with sister Kathy Du Beer from Laeveld Pharmacy in White River we headed to Soli-Deo-Gloria care Centre in Lydenburg. We also brought with a bakkie full of much needed food, blankets and some kitchenware they needed.
On our arrival we were welcomed by excited children and residents who gathered in the dining area of the care Centre.
After forming a neat queue the children up to 18 years as well as the elderly residents over 65 all received their flu injection for 2019, from sister Kathy who were kind enough to assist us! The kids and elderly were exceptionally brave and with her smile and professional skills Kathy managed to calm down the ones that were a bit frightened!! And of course a little bag full of candy afterwards does wonders for the little one’s morale!
The children and elderly residents of Soli-Deo-Gloria care centre in Lydenburg are now ready for winter!
Thanks so much Kathy De Beer from Laeveld Pharmacy for inoculating our special children and elderly.
Also a special thank you to Dr Soretha du Plessis (Homeopath) for the homeopathic treatment kits she donated to us and Chem four of White river for the cleaning products they very kindly donated to us for Soli-Deo-Gloria care Centre in Lydenburg. Once again, many thanks to you.
Winter is a very busy time at Pediatric care Africa as more children fall ill and require medical attention.
