Medical outreach on a cold Saturday!!

On Saturday the 25th July we conducted our 3rd medical outreach in Vlakteplaas at the Vlakteplaas Primary school.

The area we visited is about 50km from the nearest Government Hospital and our patients consist mainly of farm workers and their families.

The distance from a Hospital and a lack of transport, make it very difficult for especially children and the elderly to receive professional medical treatment.

Our volunteer Doctors examined and treated 31 persons, and we cannot thank all the volunteers who made this outreach possible enough, as without them there cannot be an outreach.

All patients received hot soup, a hotdog with a cooldrink and a blanket against the biting cold.
