Needles and kids!!

As part of our continuous medical care to the children in our area, we had our first “flu injection” drive at Katoen in White River, whereby all the children and a number of Senior Citizens received their annual flu injections and a sweetie parcel.

As I apparently count as a “Senior Citizen” I received my flu injection as well along with all the kids, minus the sweetie parcel the kids received, which in my mind is rather discriminatory…..

Thank you very much Suster Kathy, for your very kind assistance with the injections and for settling the nerves and wiping the tears of the little ones that got a bit overwhelmed by the sight of a needle.
