Sheer determination paid off…..

Dr Andre successfully completed this epic unaccompanied tractor ride through 6 provinces and a total distance of 3670km.

We will apply for the world record for 3500km for both the Mahindra tractor and Dr Andre at RecordSetters in the USA.

The rules dedicate that Andre had to drive by himself and may not receive any technical or navigational assistance from the public for the tractor itself.

Andre spend 180 hours driving “Rooie’s” the Mahindra tractor and trailer through SA, and made it to the end at Mahindra Nelspruit on schedule and in one piece.

Dr Andre describe the tractor trip as the most challenging event he has ever participated in both physically and mentally.

As it was a “One Man One tractor” challenge, the Mahindra 86-110 P tractor and Doc Andre both had to complete this gruelling drive over 21 days.

Thanks to each and everyone who made this trip a huge success and supported Doc Andre along the way.

Your support came in so many forms; diesel donations, schoolchildren were standing and waving next to the road, a fundraiser was organised, ladies that made sure Doc Andre got a nice bakkie troos on very cold and chilly mornings, assistance with 2-way satellite radio’s, people made monetary donations and assisted with accommodation and diners etc. etc.

This trip wouldn’t have been possible without your incredible heartwarming support!

The tractor trip become a beacon of hope for many farmers and children along the road, as they are not alone, but there are indeed people who care about them!
