Surgery required!

The mom of this little 5 week old boy contacted us with a request for medical assistance. By the symptoms we were concerned and took the little one to Dr Reinecke our go to General Practitioner within two hour of receiving the request for help.

He was referred to a Paediatrician for further evaluation and examination and was seen by Dr Botha at Mediclinic.

After a very thorough examination it was suspected that out little boy suffers from Pyloric Stenosis. He was immediately send for blood tests and a abdominal ultra sound examination to confirm Pyloric Stenosis.

Pyloric stenosis is a narrowing of the opening from the stomach to the first part of the small intestine (the pylorus).

Our little boy was admitted to Hospital and is being transferred to Pretoria for surgery.
