Unforgettable memories made!!!

This is 2nd year that we are involved with “Camp Quality” a initiative that was started over 40 years ago in Australia to bring children suffering from Cancer together for a absolutely fantastic time.

Arranged and hosted by the Rotary Club of White River at Uplands White River private school 38 children between the ages 8 and 13 met us on Thursday morning at the Rob Ferreira Hospital entrance, and was transported to Uplands private school in White River for 5 days of being spoiled and treated to flips in small airplanes, a visit to a Rhino sanctuary, interaction with elephants at Elephant Whispers, Hazyview, South Africa and a many more fun and exhilarating activities.

Children need a break from their daily lives and hardship sometimes, and need to experience new friendships and just being a kid for a few days, in a safe environment surrounded by care takers and medical staff.

Many of the children will cherish this experience for life and perhaps see that there is hope and a great future for them to dream of.
