Very brave little boy!!

This very brave 2 year old boy was born with a severe squint (Strabismus} in his left eye and corrective surgery to his eye muscle was required to correct it.

Early treatment is very important, especially before the age of 6, and Dr Eksteen, a renowned Ophthalmologist at Busamed Lowveld Private Hospital in Nelspruit performed the surgery on this little man’s eye at Busamed Lowveld Private Hospital.

The surgery was a great success and we thank Dr Eksteen and the team at Nelanest anaesthesiologists at Mediclinic Nelspruit for their care and kindness to our little patient, and also to all the highly professional staff at Busamed Lowveld Hospital that took such great care of him.

The theatre costs for this little boy’s surgery was paid with the donation that we received from the Ytipan-Innipens pancake ladies. They baked a LOT of pancakes at the Innibos festival in Nelspruit and made Pediatric Care Africa their beneficiary.

You helped changed this little boy’s life!

The only organ more complex than the eye is the brain!!!
