Winter!

As the temperature falls, the demand for food parcels sky rocket. Today we delivered around one ton of food parcels to individual persons in food distress in our community.

Due to the generous support of GB2C we are managing to keep many tummy’s fed and keeping children from becoming growth stunted or going hungry due to a lack of food. The A+ Porridge we received from Spar lowveld DC in Nelspruit is a absolute crowd pleaser, with people asking for it by name.

GIVING BACK 2 our COMMUNICTY (GB2C), that was started by Crossing Nelspruit during the centre’s 16th Birthday in October last year. Several local businesses form part of GB2C including BUCO Hardware.Buildware, Nelspruit, the Tom le Roux Family, the Omar Family, Caltex Mpumalanga North, Valencia Wholesalers, Valencia – The Home Of VBike, Crossing SuperSpar Nelspruit and the Visagie Groep amongst others.

So glad we can help the hungry in our community and we will continue to do so, thanks to the support we receive.
