40 000 meals delivered !!!

Day 38 and since the lockdown officially began on Thursday 26th March, we delivered an astonishing 40 000 meals in volume to persons in every corner of Mpumalanga so far….!

14.2 tons of food to be exact, at a man size portion of 350 grams per person per meal, it calculates to 40 000 meals that was personally delivered and handed to 100’s of persons that is not food secure and hungry during this time.

We just delivered food, fruit, veggies and chicken to the Soli deo Gloria care Centre in Hazyview, where a large number of persons resides and are in lockdown and we are very happy we could help.

As a medical NGO, we never envisioned or prepared for the unbelievable demand for food by genuinely hungry people that we are currently dealing with.

40 000 meals and every single meal was made possible by generous assistance and donations from our local community…!!

If you cannot feed a hundred people, then feed just one!
