Day 40 of lockdown!

Day 40 of lockdown!

Our day started with Doctor’s visits and then of to the pharmacy to collect medicines for a number of sick children, after which we had to purchase essential baby foods and nappies at Crossing SuperSpar Nelspruit as we can not keep up with the demand and we run out of nappies and baby milk/food.

Between all this running around we received a fantastic donation from Eskort Butchery Nelspruit for our “Old folks” project whereby we deliver food and other essentials to old people, that is not coping due to the lockdown and who requires a bit of food and TLC.

Polonies and spreads is just what the Doctor ordered to lightened up our senior citizens day a little…!

Thank you very much @Eskort Butchery Nelspruit for your continuous support and by spoiling our seniors with polonies and spreads.

Thanks to an awesome monetary donation received, from the local Lowveld initiative, GIVING BACK 2 OUR COMMUNICTY (GB2C), that was started by Crossing Centre Nelspruit during the centre’s 16th Birthday in October last year.  Several local businesses form part of GB2C including BUCO Hardware.Buildware, Nelspruit, Tom le Roux Family, the Omar Family, Mica Nelspruit, Crossing Superspar(Nelspruit) and the Visagie Groep amongst others, we are able to purchase food, nappies and milk for children in need.

“Hope is a renewable option: If you run out of it at the end of the day, you get to start over in the morning.”
