Baby food and Genesis!

Over 500 days since lockdown in all its degrees and forms started in South Africa.

We are struggling to keep up with the continues and increasing demand from people and children in sometimes severe food distress, and in many cases it is not through their own actions, but rather as a consequence of circumstances brought on or worsened by Covid 19 Lockdowns, as an enormous number of persons in Mpumalanga has lost their jobs as a result.

Mpumalanga is a tourist area, and persons in the tourist and lodging industry have been very badly effected…..

The generosity and absolutely welcome donations of Genesis Nutritional Products/OUTsurance, SPAR Lowveld DC in Nelspruit and GB2C make it possible for us to still being able to assist starving children 500 + days into this Covid pandemic.

Genesis Nutritional Products’ unique formulation provides instant, great tasting, immune boosting, high protein, nutritionally balanced and ‘complete’ meals. The product works well when mixed with water, it is easily transportable and can be stored for many months. Kids flourish on it and seems much happier and active than before starting them on Genesis nutritional foods.

GB2C donations of baby milk and baby porridge is literally keeping many small children and babies from malnutrition or starvation.

This very welcome baby food donation we received are from the local Lowveld initiative, GIVING BACK 2 our COMMUNITY (GB2C), that was started by Crossing Nelspruit during the centre’s 16th Birthday in October last year. Several local businesses form part of GB2C including BUCO South Africa, the Tom le Roux Family, the Omar Family, Caltex Mpumalanga North, Valencia Wholesalers, Valencia – The Home Of VBike, Crossing SuperSpar Nelspruit, and the Visagie Groep amongst others.
