Extremely busy week
Extremely busy week!
It was a extremely busy week at Pediatric care Africa to ensure all children that requires medical attention are at their Doctors appointments on time.
The photos only shows a handful of the kids we had to assist…!
Running between Paediatrician’s, Ophthalmologists, Ear nose and throat specialists, General practitioners, laboratories, X ray rooms on Thursday we assisted a record number of children that required medical attention and still had time to deliver 1.2 tons of vegetables donated to us by KMIA farms to Magalela squatter camp.
Our youngest patient this week also had a busy time as he was seen by Dr Louw a Paediatrician at Kiaat Hospital, Dr Eksteen an Ophthalmologist at Busamed Hospital and Laurette Lemmer a Audiologist at Mediclinic but our little boy who is only 4 months (I think?) was very brave and cooperative throughout all the prodding and probing. Well done young man!!
Thank you very much to Dr Louw, Dr Eksteen, Laurette Lemmer, Neil Taljaard and our very own super Doc, Dr Reinecke from LowMed who supported us with all the patients we brought to you.
As the economy worsens and parents loses their jobs more and more, we at Pediatric care Africa will receive a huge increase in calls for assistance with sick children…….!
