Fighting malnutrition!

In our perpetual fight against child hunger and malnutrition we visited a number of areas in Mpumalanga, to deliver baby food to dozens of babies and toddlers depending on us for food.

The kiddies received tins of age appropriate baby milk, Nestum baby food and Pro nutro for toddlers. Later this week we will be delivering baby food to other areas due for delivery and of course the many new requests for food we receive weekly.

The Pro nutro was sponsored and donated to us by SPAR Lowveld in Nelspruit and we thank you for your continuous support to us. I must say, the Pro Nutro smells delicious.

This very welcome baby food donation we received are from the local Lowveld initiative, GIVING BACK 2 our COMMUNITY (GB2C), that was started by Crossing Nelspruit during the centre’s 16th Birthday in October last year. Several local businesses form part of GB2C including BUCO South Africa, the Tom le Roux Family, the Omar Family, Caltex Mpumalanga North, Valencia Wholesalers, Valencia – The Home Of VBike, Crossing SuperSpar Nelspruit, and the Visagie Groep amongst others.

There is no doubt that without your regular and very welcome assistance we simply would not be able to continuous helping these kids in food distress.
