Final medical outreach of 2023!!

2023 has been a very busy year for us at Pediatric Care Africa, but also a very successful year.

We conducted our last medical outreach on Saturday the 2nd Dec for 2023 at Brondal, an informal settlement, on the R37 towards Sabie/Lydenburg.

We service a number of care centres and informal settlements on a regular basis with medical outreaches, and try our best to visit the same place every 3 months to follow up on patients and of course receive an treat new ones.

This year is the first year that Dentists joined our volunteer outreach group and this additional service is a big hit with the patients we assist, and our records indicate that they extracted no less than a 152 teeth and the Doctors saw and treated a whopping 449 children and 136 adults during our outreaches alone this year.

It takes the combined efforts and skills of many medical and non-medical volunteers during any outreach to make it a success, and we wish to thank every single person that volunteered with us on our medical outreaches this year.

You not only saved lives and improved lives with your efforts, but you gave forgotten children a chance and THAT is awesome!
