Food outreach to Lydenburg!

Loaded with over 2 tons of goods and accompanied by Margaret Stone a local legend, we set out on a food outreach to Paradise squatter camp in Lydenburg, but first we had to stop off at Solio Deo-Gloria in Lydenburg to deliver baby food,Medicine, nappies, eggs and about 200kg of Vegetables to them.

Once done we pushed on to Paradise camp where we offloaded for the first time 1.8 tons of goods consisting of prepacked food parcels, Eggs, brand new clothing, bedding, cooldrinks and a lot of vegetables.

There was excitement and happiness all round as the word spread like wild fire of our arrival.

Each household received a food parcel that was collected at the Grove Spar, Heidel eggs and soft drinks from Squeeza and a wheel barrow of vegetables from KMIA.

As desert each family received brand new clothing from Woolworths in Acornhoek and Riverside mall and finally pillows, and bedding from Mediclinic Nelspruit that we received via Katoen.

Unfortunately donors never get to see the pure joy and excitement that their donations and products bring to the people that receive it, therefore we would love to take donors with us to see what their donations mean to real people that receive their gifts.
