Harley Davidson
5 weeks ago, I handed my beloved Harley Davidson Road King over to Anthony Delpaul of Freedom Motorcycles Mbombela, as she was in need of TLC after travelling around South Africa 3 times on our annual “Ride for a child” 7000km charity motorbike ride and visiting orphanages and children around SA.
She was scratched and tired from all the children clamouring all over her and needed a fresh paint job to make her immidiately recognisable and brand new.
Wayne Wagner of Riverside Panelbeaters in Nelspruit took on the challenge of a complete repaint and a detailed airbrush job, and an amazing airbrush artist of Riverside Panelbeaters in Nelspruit named Wynand Dehring did an amazing job in “branding” the “Ol Gal” showing off his exceptional talent and skill as a freehand airbrush artist. Wayne and Anthony far surpassed my high expectations, as my Road King looks classy, elegant and an amazing piece of art. It tells the story of Pediatric care Africa.
A paint job alone was not going to do it, and Robert Chaimeir the technician at Freedom motorcycles took her apart completely, and with his typical eye for detail gave her a complete once over and a major service. Anthony Delpaul, the owner of Freedom motorcycles arranged for her seats to be re-upholstered, and spared no effort to ensure we get the bike back in perfect mechanical condition.
The “Ol Gal” is now ready to travel around SA again to bring a smile to orphanaged kids that can ride on her and earn their badges. Wayne and Anthony we appreciate what you have done for Pediatric care Africa.
My Road King looks stunning, thank you!
