Hectic week!
Hectic week!
Very busy week ahead of us ranging from food deliveries to children. A number of children needs to be taken to doctors and specialists and medicines must be collected from the pharmacy for a little future soccer player that was seen by a specialist last week.
After his visit to the Nelspruit Eye Institute and Optical Services in Nelspruit last month our little boy will receive his corrective glasses in the coming days and will then be on his way to healthy eyes!
Between all of that activity we are starting two new projects.
One project is to erect 4 child safe outside toilets at Magalela squatter camp as there are no toilets and with all the poop lying around children are very exposed to all kinds of diseases and infections. Prevention, in our opinion is much better than cure as there are over 250 children living at the camp. The toilets are sponsored to us by Emnotweni Casino.
We don’t normally get involved in construction but we believe that the availability of toilets will vastly improve the health and safety of the children living at the squatter camp.
