Inability to speak!

This friendly young man lost his ability to speak some time ago, and has been going to various hospitals but with no apparent success or diagnosis.

We received the request for assistance and within days he was seen by Dr Smook a top ENT specialist at Busamed Lowveld Private Hospital in Nelspruit.

It was established that a viral infection causes growths in his throat/Larynx rendering him unable to speak. With Dr Smook’s assistance he is arranging a referral for him to a Government ENT department, where he will have the growths surgically removed every 6 to 8 weeks and ensure a stable long term treatment plan for him.
