Launching our anti Malaria project!

Pediatric Care Africa has launched our first large scale program to assist persons living in endemic malaria areas such as parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

The key prevention strategy of the malaria control programmes in endemic areas is spraying of households with long acting residual insecticides(IRS) which target indoor feeding mosquitos.

Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by parasites that are transmitted to people through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes.

Our initial program is for one year and we will be distributing indoor/outdoor Anti-mozzie linen and wall spray to families in danger areas, to spray against the walls and linen/clothing

Malaria is preventable, treatable and curable.
