Several surgeries completed!

March started off unusually busy for us at Pediatric Care Africa with 2 children receiving surgeries in the last few days.

One child underwent a umbilical hernia surgery on Tuesday and the other young boy had surgery to his ears performed by Dr Smook a renowned ENT surgeon at Busamed in Nelspruit with the assistance from the team of Nelanest at Medi Clinic Nelspruit. This surgery was performed at the Busamed day Hospital in Nelspruit.

Yesterday a young little girl was send for X rays to establish the extent of her suspected injuries to her head and one shoulder, we are awaiting the report from her attending doctor and recommended plan of treatment, whilst a number of children received treatment and examinations from private general practitioners and specialists.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give…!
