On Friday 11 October a young girl from Katoen was playing outside when she cut her foot open on the grid of a braai, and required medical attention.
On receipt of the call for assistance we took the little girl to the White river pharmacy clinic, were she was attended to by the sister on duty and her wounds were disinfected and closed with Steri Strips and covered in a bright blue bandage.
She also required a Tetanus injection, which she bravely allowed the sister to administer. She was a very brave girl throughout her ordeal and was rewarded with some sweets by her Mom for her gallant bravery.
It is always a pleasure to assist the folks from Katoen, and this time was no exception.
We hope the little girl does not have too much pain and is her old self again in no time.
