Ride for a Child 2021 Ellisras – Rustenburg

Day 3 and sunshine…!

Day three of our annual “Ride for a Child” charity bike ride and we departed from Ellisras (Lephalale) onwards to Rustenburg via Thabazimbi in sunshine and the roads and scenery was great making this part of the tour our collective favourite section so far, The “Bushveld” looked great after the rains and is definitely a road and area worth travelling to for all motor bike riders. Arriving in Rustenburg we are overnighting at the StayEasy Hotel – Tsogo Sun , Rustenburg and met up with members of the local Steelwings Motorbike club.

What an absolute pleasant road to travel by bike…!

In the morning on day 4 we are departing to Vryburg via Lichtenburg and Mahikeng where we will be met by the Speedhogs motorbike club in Vryburg where we are going to hand over a 2021 Ride for a child badge to the widow of a fellow biker and Doctor who died of Covid recently. According to our custom, if a biker rode with us on our ride for a child charity bike ride and he or she pass away their spouse or club will receive their badge every year from us to honour and remember the fellow biker who passed away.
