We took little Delcio to see Dr. Carine Smit a well-known Paediatrician at Mediclinic today, for an examination and evaluation.

Thank you very much Dr Smit for your willingness to help Delcio and your kindness towards her. You are our hero and we cannot sing your praises enough.

Thank you also to Dr Attie van Wyk for arranging everything for Delcio and making her Doctor’s appointment possible.

Delcio lives with her parents in Brondal squatter camp near White River in Mpumalanga. She will require lifelong medical attention and assistance due to her medical condition, and today was her first step towards a happier, healthier life.

We will visit Delcio every month to deliver her medication and to help facilitate her Physio/Occupational therapy that she will need.

Our first goal is to get Delcio to sit and to keep a smile on her face as she is a very friendly little girl that gives the biggest smiles you have ever seen…
