We are experiencing a very busy April, with a steady stream of kids that requires medical treatment and food.

Besides our normal duties and responsibilities, we also have our medical outreach at Katoen on Saturday the 15th, Camp Quality at Uplands from the 27th to he 30th April organized by the White River Rotary International club, whereby 30 children with diseases or disorders are spoiled with elephant rides, a flip in an airplane and swimming to name but a few activities and what can be better than to put a smile on a child’s face and let him forget his worries for a little while.

Last but certainly not least, the Social event of the year in Mpumalanga is to be held on the 22nd April hosted by Lowveld Medical Art & Culture Society and Busamed Hospital group. This formal gala dinner includes an art exhibition, live music and wine pairing to mention a few and it is absolutely “THE” social and cultural event of the year, and is held in aid of Pediatric Care Arica. This is truly a red carpet event months in the making, and we are very humbled and honoured that the Lowveld Medical Art & Culture Society chose us as their beneficiary of this prestigious fundraising event.

Children are great imitators. So let us give them something to imitate…..
