Pediatric care Africa was asked by the White River Rotarians to assist with this years Camp Quality held annualy in April at Uplands school in White River. Camp Quality has been running for over 30 years and is happening from the morning of the 27th April until the 30th April 2023.
The purpose of Camp Quality is to host and spoil children for a few days, between the ages of 8 and 15 years old that suffers from example a disease or disorder such as Cancer, diabetis, high functioning Dawn syndrome, physical disability etc.
Children interested in joining this year’s fun and games at Uplands school must be able to use the toilet on their own, and be able to bath and dress themselves and be from Mpumalanga province. Children will be fully supervised with a Doctor, nursing staff and volunteer helpers always at hand.
Children will swim, ride horses, watch movies possibly be taken on a flight in a plane or helicopter to name a few activities. All participation is completely free of charge to all children and transport can be arranged for children that do not have access to transport to and from Uplands school in White River.
We have decided to publicise this fantastic event on FB to make this wonderful opportunity available to a broader spectrum of children throughout Mpumalanga and not just the children we know.
