STATS

Since our inception in 2017:

• 2840 sick children were taken by us to private medical doctors and or specialists for examination and treatment.

• 8145 sick children and adults received free medical examinations and medical treatment from us during our medical outreach programs.

• 219 children received free surgeries from us.

• We have provided 511 000 kg (2.2 million meals) in food parcels to people in food distress and due to disasters and the Covid 19 pandemic.

• We provided an estimated 7243 1.8kg tins of baby formula and 9098 packets of baby porridge to babies whose parents could not buy their own baby food because of job loss and other circumstances.

• We have distributed 102 000 doses of Cholera medication in flood-stricken areas in Mozambique to help prevent a Cholera outbreak.

• We assisted during the following disasters: Cyclone IDAI in Mozambique, Cyclone Eloise in Limpopo, the Covid 19 pandemic and the veld fire disaster in Hertzogville/Boshof area in the Free State.

• In 2023 we developed a Pediatric Surgical unit at Rob Ferreira Hospital in Nelspruit which serves as a referral centre for children from across Mpumalanga.

• In May 2024 we developed a state-of-the-art burns unit incorporated in this Pediatric Surgical ward at Rob Ferreira Hospital in Nelspruit, complete with Isolation facilities, stainless steel bath etc. and it also has its own self-contained and separate occupational therapy and physio therapy unit for the rehabilitation of severely burned children.

“Ride for a child” 2024 World Record Attempt is now officially recognized as a world record with 2616 motorcycles riding in tandem for charity. This is a fantastic achievement thanks to all that joined to make this a legacy!!!!
